Beautiful area and nice views. Campground is clean and safe. A mix of seasonal and daily camping. Highly recommend. Note that some sites are prone to flooding so when making reservations be sure to ask for site that is not likely to flood. Some sites have more shade than others so if that is important to you also be sure to check.
Great county campground, fair prices, coin showers, laundry room, amazing location right on the river and a small beach for the kids. Staff was helpful and kind.
A great campground with beautiful views of the Mississippi backwaters! A nice beach to enjoy the river in warm days. Great picnic shelters for parties and reunions.
It's a decent campground. But dirty. You can tell most of the "weekend" folk have no courtesy...or maybe that's just the general public these days. Wrappers on the shore, paper plate in the water, mikes cran-lemonade bottle sitting empty on the beach until I had thrown it away. People get it together-appreciate and respect the surroundings.
Nice sites. Clean bathrooms. Beautiful view of the river. Reasonable rates. I would definitely stay at Goose Island Campground again!
